The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. Responsibilities This position reports to the Office Manager and is responsible for greeting patients and setting the initial tone for the patient experience. Greet patients and visitors in waiting area in a friendly, prompt and helpful manner Checks in patients and updates necessary information in patients profile Promptly answers incoming phone calls Responsible for daily collection of copays and other forms of payment Performs additional duties as necessary Skills Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role Knowledge of Electronic Health Records. Working knowledge of office equipment Thorough understanding of office management procedures Excellent organizational and time management skills Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office. Proficiency in Office Practicum a plus Must want to show up as scheduled and work when here.
