Under general supervision of the Practice Manager or Front Office Supervisor, assists with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of front office staff activities in the daily operation of patient registration, scheduling, and insurance information collection a physicians' practice; duties require considerable judgment in the application of established office practices and procedures; serves as a role model to other staff members through the demonstration of leadership skills and by sharing knowledge; serves as a preceptor for new non-clinical staff.Qualifications:
Education Associate's Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field and two (2) years of front office or related experience Required or H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of front office or related expereince. Required Work Experience 2 years Of front office or related experience Required or 4 years Of front office or related experience and high school diploma or equivalentRequired Licenses and Certifications Certified Coder-AHIMA or AAPC Preferred Business Unit :
