Position Summary The Front Office Coordinator at SENTA Partners/ENT and Allergy Associates of South GA, serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the practice by managing front office tasks, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the clinical team. The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff. Key Responsibilities Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner. Manage patient appointment scheduling, including rescheduling and cancellations. Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls as needed. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and demographics. Maintain patient records in the practice management system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Process patient payments, handle billing inquiries, and provide receipts for transactions. Coordinate communication between the front office, clinical staff, and physicians. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area. Assist patients with completing required forms and paperwork. Manage office supplies, ensuring availability for front office operations. Handle patient concerns or complaints with empathy and escalate issues when necessary. Support the administrative needs of the practice, including data entry, filing, and correspondence. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient information and confidentiality.
