Non-Exempt Position Purpose:
This position provides administrative, secretarial and bookkeeping support for the School Office at St. Anthony Catholic School.
Essential Functions:
Greet and assist students, parents and employees Primary phone management Perform clerical and secretarial functions for the school's main office Responsible for daily deposits from various sources throughout the school. Preparing bank deposits timely and accurately. Required to discuss discrepancies with deposits and communicate cash management policy Responsible for event cash management (Mission Days, etc.), tracking and recording payments, timely deposits and communication status with appropriate staff Assists with school communication to parents via email Coordinates correspondence and activities for employee events Oversee the daily management and operations of the JMC, ensuring efficient and organized processes Review, verify, and approve employee timecards to ensure hours worked and avoid discrepancies Manage teacher absences in HRIS system and coordinate substitute coverage to ensure classrooms are adequately staffed Performs additional duties as assigned
Hiring/Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred 3+ years of experience in an administrative role Strong understanding of general accounting and bookkeeping principles Excellent customer service skills with the ability to solve problems effectively Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required Ability to manage confidential information, multiple priorities and competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail Integrity required to appropriately handle cash and other payments, following strict internal procedures Proven experience utilizing analytical and strong problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate across teams with strong interpersonal skills High level of typing accuracy and speed; a strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation required Bilingual Spanish speaker a plus
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Physical requirements include sitting, talking, listening, reading, writing, and keying/finger dexterity Ability to lift 25 lbs Environmental requirements including working indoors and outdoors
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
