Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with office management tools. This role involves managing front desk duties, handling correspondence, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office functioning. Bilingual skills are a plus, as the position requires effective communication with diverse clients and team members. Responsibilities Greet visitors and manage front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and efficiently, providing excellent phone etiquette Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records Manage calendar appointments and schedule meetings using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software Support office management tasks including organizing supplies, maintaining office equipment, and overseeing general administrative duties Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, ensuring positive interactions Handle clerical responsibilities such as typing correspondence, managing emails, and supporting personal assistant tasks when needed Maintain organizational systems to improve workflow efficiency and document management Qualifications Proven experience in an office environment or administrative role with clerical responsibilities Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous Knowledge of front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and office management best practices Attention to detail in proofreading and data entry tasks Ability to handle customer service interactions professionally and courteously Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or personal assistant is a plus This position offers an engaging work environment where organizational skills and customer service excellence are highly valued. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations while supporting team members across various administrative functions.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
