Social Service Coordinator at St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic, assertive and creative individual to join our team! The duties included will be for Lynn Peterson, Kathy Reed and Meadowood Glen II Housing.
Essential Functions:
Meet in community room for craft time, create calendar of events for tenants Answers tenant questions Helps tenants find community assistance Be aware of other assistance programs/agencies and refer clients based on their need. Maintain proper files Maintain professional standards of client and organizational confidentiality. Helps with tenant conflicts. Act as a liaison between SVDP, clients and the community as necessary. Meet all standards expressed by various grant program goals. Attend and contribute to meetings/training. Periodic Tenant Welfare checks
Material and Equipment Used:
Utilizes various software applications, including Microsoft Office, as well as standard office equipment (copiers, fax machines, etc.).
Physical Activities/Mental Demands:
Light physical work, including lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally. Frequent mental demands, including problem-solving, multitasking, and handling interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Computer literate with a working knowledge of
Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Publisher. Knowledge on office procedures and equipment Good people skills Able to work independently Positive customer-oriented attitude and team player
Working Conditions:
Minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
