Description:
The
HIM CLERK
is responsible for the release of health information functions for the facility including review and processing of all requests for information by maintaining the facilities policies and standards of practice to assure release of information requests are appropriate and meet legal regulations.
Requirements:
Preferred 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Proficient in Microsoft word and excel. Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression Outstanding public relations/customer service experience High level of personal presentation Ability to maintain accuracy with interruptions Ability to use sound judgement and cope with potentially stressful situations Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect). Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for customer service standards.
