II.QUALIFICATIONS
A.Strong customer service skills with a minimum of two years experience in clerical or secretarial work requiring frequent contact with the public. B. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required. C.Strong computer skills including proficiency in word processing, excel, spreadsheets, reports, etc. D.Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask. E.Ability to work with staff, students, and the public and to work as part of a team. F.Minimum of a high school diploma. G.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

IV.JOB GOALS
To support the delivery of School District 91's written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement. To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the High School office so that the maximum positive impact on the education of students may be achieved
V.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A.Welcomes visitors graciously and assists them as needed. B.Places and receives telephone calls cordially and accurately records messages. C.Delivers messages to the staff as requested. D.Processes incoming and outgoing correspondence as instructed. E.Orders and maintains supplies, as needed. F.Is responsible for deliveries including warehouse, interoffice mail, postal service, etc. G.Maintains a regular filing system. H.Tracks staff attendance, including substitute teacher records. I.Assists office personnel with duties in the office. J.Process work orders and District purchase requests. K.Coordinates the principal's appointments and schedule. L.Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information. M.Has regular and predictable attendance.
VI.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A.Performs all other duties as assigned.
VII.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position is scheduled for 8 hours per day, 225 days per year. Benefits will be in accordance with approved Board policy. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 6•$17.63 or $18.53 per hour depending on experience. This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The "employment at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91.
VIII.EVALUATION
Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Building Administrator in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of classified personnel. This position has been given an overall physical classification of light duty.
