This position provides high-level administration support to the Branch Director in areas of fundraising, marketing and in-general member experience. The South Meridian Branch of the Treasure Valley YMCA is unlike any other in the country. Our 60,000-square-foot facility is part of a unique collaboration that combines family recreation, education, sports, literacy, and wellness care on a single campus called "The Hill." Schedule:
This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours weekly. Schedule requirements include Monday through Friday, during normal business hours, with a flexible daily schedule and occasional evenings and weekends.Responsibilities:
Coordinates fundraising ("Annual Campaign") guidance and support to staff and volunteers by providing information and materials in a timely manner needed to cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors. Assists and coordinates donor relations, cultivation, acknowledgements and stewardship efforts for branch. Serve as reviewer of materials in partnership with Marketing Communications ("MarCom") team to ensure intent, brand alignment and accuracy of details. Support branches with use of and creation of standardized templates for simple signage along with collaboration with other branch liaisons for association-wide material sharing. Supports Branch Director in all aspects of branch operations including calendar, meetings, travel arrangements, correspondence project management, supplies, files, etc. Acts as a liaison between leadership staff and/or all staff, volunteers and members for Branch/Associate Branch Director as directed.Qualifications:
A minimum of two years' experience providing administrative assistance support required. High School diploma required; some college coursework preferred. Experience in or ability to learn and navigate different software systems for marketing and member experiences. Proven communication skills with strong written, verbal, and digital media. Superior internal and external customer service experience required. Demonstrated skills in event planning, time management, flexibility, organization, and independent work proficiency. Advanced proficiency of office equipment and computer skills using Microsoft Office & Adobe Suites and similar software. Excellent human relations skills and an ability to maintain position communication with staff and members. Ability to address and make solid decision in emergency situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including telephone etiquette and computer use. Prior experience of successful supervisor of staff and volunteer preferred.Benefits:
