SALARY SCHEDULE
The rate of pay for this position will be $16.78 per hour .

JOB SUMMARY:
The principal function is to perform a wide variety of secretarial and reception for activities and duties related to Pocatello High School. Duties may include public contact, typing and preparing letters or documents using various software applications, entering data into school or District systems and applications, attendance, keeping records, logs, ledgers, and related documents, providing general secretarial support for school personnel and working within District specific processes and procedures. The work is performed under the supervision of the Principal, Assistant Principal, or other person assigned. Cross trains in other areas of administrative support.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, continued education or experience in performing clerical, secretarial and accounting/record keeping is preferred. Ability to complete CPR and First Aid training; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities to necessary to perform the work. Must be able to type 40 words per minute. Must be able to work with job-related software such as Word, Excel or others.
EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION
Current employees that are interested in a transfer must apply through the District on-line transfer system - internal application.
A TYPING TEST TAKEN AT THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR. TYPING TEST MUST BE TAKEN PRIOR TO CLOSING DATE.
Once you have passed the typing test, the Department of Labor will give you the Basic Office and Excel testing. The tests will be taken at the Idaho Department of Labor. All other applicants must apply through the AppliTracks system on-line, external application.
