$16.00/hour This Is NOT Your Typical Office Job If you're looking for a quiet desk job where every day looks the same, this probably isn't it. Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our staffing and recruiting team. This is a fast-paced, people-driven position where you'll be balancing administrative responsibilities, recruiting, hiring, employee support, customer deadlines, and a whole lot of moving pieces—often all at the same time. You'll need to be comfortable making decisions, changing priorities quickly, staying organized under pressure, and taking ownership when something needs to get done. What You'll Be Doing- Support daily staffing and recruiting operations
- Recruit, screen, interview, and assist with hiring candidates
- Help manage employee assignments, attendance, performance, and availability
- Communicate with employees and clients throughout the day
- Assist with onboarding, paperwork, documentation, and employment records
- Help make hiring and staffing decisions based on customer needs
- Monitor job orders and help meet customer deadlines
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist walk-in applicants
- Maintain accurate records and keep multiple tasks moving at once
- Troubleshoot staffing issues and help find solutions quickly
- Work closely with the branch team to ensure employees and customers receive great service What We're Looking For The right person is:
