Overview:
REAL ALLOY
is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.
Responsibilities:
Help Keep Our Plant Running Smoothly Real Alloy in Post Falls, ID is looking for a dependable, organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our aluminum recycling plant. In the Administrative Assistant role, you'll help keep daily operations running efficiently by providing administrative support to plant leadership while serving as a key resource for employees, visitors, and customers. This Administrative Assistant role will report directly to the Plant Controller and will help provide administrative support to the Plant Manager, Plant Controller, CSR, S&R, HSE, HR/IT, and Purchasing Departments. If you have previous administrative experience in an office setting and have great attention to detail, then this role may be a great fit for you. Salary range is $48,000-$52,000 per year, based on qualification and experience. Some of the core responsibilities include: Answer and direct incoming calls, greet visitors, mail packages, copying, scanning, filing, other office duties as needed Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by answering phone calls of truck arrivals and coordinating with Shipping/Receiving Department Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for Carriers/Customers by utilizing computerized appointment system Create BOL's for outbound shipments for Carriers/Customers in Oracle, for outbound loads, provide packing lists provided by Customer to Shipping & Receiving Department before shipment can be unloaded Monitoring shipping and receiving data. Compiling reports for management review. Correctly enter all necessary information into Oracle on a timely basis. Works closely with customers, production supervisors, plant management regarding any receipt issues (i.e., load quality, weight difference, missing information, etc.) to ensure timely unloading of trucks and accurate reporting of receipt data. Track all inbound and outbound BOLs/Packing Lists and notify members of management of any discrepancies (shortage and/or overages). Assists support staff with scheduling, maintaining, monitoring, and reporting receiving appointment databases of incoming customer material to customers daily. Provides back up support of these duties, when needed. Serves as integral team member on communication with customers or vendors to address questions and responds to special requests. Qualifications:
Associates degree preferred or equivalent years of experience. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products, strong Excel skills required. Experience with Oracle R12/Cloud preferred. Ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, and multi-task. Must be able to influence and work with all levels of employees. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and organizational skills are essential. Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical and challenge driven.
