at Department of Natural Resources in Bourbonnais, Illinois, United States Job Description Position Overview The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking to hire an Office Coordinator for Kankakee River State Park. This position will provide assistance to the pubic at Kankakee/Iroquois state park sites by answering and direct incoming calls explaining procedures, rules and regulations; monitor the camp database for shelter reservations, prepare vehicle usage reports, process vouchers and invoices in accordance with fiscal rules and regulations; prepare all income and petty cash account records, monthly reconciliations, and annual reports. This position will also serve as timekeeper for all assigned staff. Kankakee River State Park offers anglers, canoeists, hunters, campers, hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts many recreational opportunities. Essential Functions Under direction, performs complex keyboarding and word processing of assigned reports including personnel forms and evaluations. Uses a computerized voucher system, prepares, and processes vouchers for expenditures, contractual services, travel, petty cash, and other sources. Provides information/assistance to visitors of Kankakee/Iroquois sites. Serves as office receptionist. Serves as timekeeper for all assigned staff. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
