Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant Caretaker to provide exceptional support and care for individuals in various living environments. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for residents with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a met. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing changes, and reporting concerns promptly Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper use of safety equipment like bed rails and wheelchairs (will train) Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Support residents with social engagement activities, companionship, and emotional well-being Transportation as needed. (will trained) Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care techniques Experience in home health or hospice care settings is advantageous Familiarity with medication administration, care plans, and vital signs monitoring Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are preferred Proven ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or manual techniques Attaching pure wick system external catheters (will train) gloves provided Strong understanding of patient monitoring, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures Join us if you're passionate about providing compassionate caregiving that empowers individuals to live comfortably and safely.
