Location:
Campus, ILLINOIS Summary Provide receptionist duties at the Schmidthorst College of Business Welcome Desk and the Dean's Office Suite and assist with projects to support the College.
Career Readiness Competencies:
Communication Critical Thinking Professionalism Essential Functions Provide receptionist duties including welcoming guests, providing directions, arranging parking, fielding and redirecting incoming telephone calls, and managing content on the Welcome Desk Monitor. Perform general clerical and administrative support duties, including backup coverage when needed. Support the work of the Schmidthorst College of Business by creating, editing, updating documents, forms, online copy/websites, reports, and presentations. Complete ad hoc projects for the Dean and Dean's staff including projects related to event planning/coordination. Attend/participate in projects and related meetings. Other duties as assigned by the supervising faculty or staff member. Minimum Qualifications BGSU undergraduate student in good academic standing. Demonstrated competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent. Passionate, innovative, and reliable. Must possess effective communication skills.
