Administrative Assistant, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) About the
Center:
The Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center of St. Clair County is located in East St. Louis, IL. The Center has been in operation since 1957 serving the needs of children, adolescents, and adults. Our mission is to provide quality individualized essential services for people in need of emotional, rehabilitative and social support, on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, in the least restrictive environment. We strive to be the top-ranking Community Behavioral Health Center within its size, population and category in the State of Illinois.
Description:
This is an opportunity for a person with administrative training, skills, and experience to serve as a member of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team providing a very specialized model of treatment/service delivery. A multi-disciplinary team serves a small, defined caseload of seriously mentally ill (SMI) adults and becomes the single point of responsibility for that caseload. This is a unique treatment model in which the majority of mental health services are directly provided by the ACT team in the client's regular environment.
Key Duties:
Assist the ACT team which consists of a Team Leader, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Addictions Counselor, Case Manager, Peer Specialist, and Registered Nurse to ensure each client receives the highest level of service Prepare documents and reports Prepare external and internal correspondence Schedule appointments Maintain office files Maintain policies and procedures for the ACT team Receiving incoming phone calls Making outgoing phone calls Assist the ACT team with documentation of services and submission of billing information in system of electronic health records on same day of service Maintain office, medical, and other supplies for the ACT team Attend a one-hour daily meeting, at least four days per week, with the ACT team Other duties as assigned by the ACT Team Leader Reports to:

40 hours per week
Requirements:
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (i.e. Excel, Outlook, and Access) Excellent organization and time management skills Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, orally and in writing Ability to work under pressure, handling significant challenges with approaching deadlines Ability to operate office equipment including but not limited to desktop/laptop/tablet, printer/scanner/fax/copiers, digital projectors, multiline phone systems and smartphones
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent At least two years of experience as an administrative assistant Formal training in administrative support desired
