Position Summary and Key Responsibilities The School of Education at McKendree University is seeking part-time adjunct instructors for the Graduate and Doctoral programs. Areas of need include recent experience as a district-level administrator (ideally as Superintendent), with expertise in School Law, State and District Policy, and Public-School Political issues.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have an earned Education Specialist degree from a regionally accredited institution and experience in one or more of the areas listed above and preferably be an active or recently active school administrator in the state of Illinois.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active school administrator in the state of Illinois. Doctoral degree in Education is preferred. Work Conditions Evening availability is required.

Regular pay rate:

$2,145.00 for each 3-hour course, per semester. Higher rates may apply for larger course enrollments, labs, or other duties. Online/remote teaching opportunities may exist dependent on the needs of the course. Applicants interested in online/remote opportunities must reside in the following states:

IL, CA, FL, TN, KY.
