Develop Your Leadership Career in Long Term Care Are you an experienced long term care professional ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We are seeking an Assistant Administrator to join our skilled nursing team and work alongside an experienced Administrator in a well-established facility. This role is ideal for an individual who wants to expand their operational, regulatory, and leadership experience within a skilled nursing environment. As part of our long-term leadership development strategy, the Assistant Administrator will receive mentorship and hands-on training while supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility. With the current Administrator planning for retirement in the coming years, this position offers a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and prepare for future advancement. Must be licensed LNHA or soon-to-be licensed. What You'll Do As the Assistant Administrator, you will partner with the Administrator to support all aspects of facility operations, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, staff engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the overall management and operation of the skilled nursing facility Acting on behalf of the Administrator in their absence Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, and community partners Supporting compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Addressing resident and family concerns in a professional and timely manner Collaborating with department leaders to achieve operational and quality goals Monitoring facility operations and conducting routine building inspections Assisting with budgeting, purchasing, reporting, and special projects Participating in admissions, staffing, customer service, and quality improvement initiatives Helping to foster a positive, service-focused culture throughout the facility Qualifications Required Long Term Care experience Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Computer proficiency and familiarity with healthcare operations Ability to work effectively with residents, families, employees, and community stakeholders Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Preferred Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience Previous supervisory or management experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting Why Join Us?
