We are Seeking a motivated and compassionate Assistant Nursing Home Administrator to join our leadership team to advanced their career in long-term care administration while working closely with an experienced Administrator. Our mission is to foster a positive team environment, promoting collaboration, and continue to grow our reputation for being the preferred source for skilled nursing/long term care within the communities we serve.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Administrator will support the day-to-day operations of the facility, helping to ensure regulatory compliance, quality resident care, employee engagement, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will gain hands-on leadership experience across all departments.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily facility operations and department oversight. Support compliance with state and federal regulations. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Help manage staffing, employee relations, and retention efforts. Assist with resident and family satisfaction programs. Support admissions, census development, and community outreach activities. Monitor operational metrics and contribute to strategic planning. Serve as Administrator designee when appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; healthcare administration or related field preferred. Illinois Nursing Home Administrator license preferred, or eligibility to obtain licensure. Prior experience in long-term care, healthcare operations, or healthcare management preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
