RESOURCE ROOM TECHNICIAN
Position is nonexempt reporting to the Senior Career Planner.POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Greet Resource Room visitors, determine the nature of their visit, and assist them with their needs in conjunction with the Illinois WorkNet System and the One Stop Consortium.
- Assist in the preparation of resumes utilizing the preferred method identified by the One Stop Manager.
- Maintain sign-in records of visitors.
- Provides needed clerical support to program staff and other secretarial staff.
- Maintains Resource Room and posts publications.
- Responsible for inter-agency requests for information by researching files and disclosing only allowable information approved by the Assistant Director / Executive Director.
- Assist Career planners with time sheets, childcare forms, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to use Word processing software and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical usage.
- Knowledge of office procedures and organizational functions.
- Ability to greet people in a friendly, courteous manner and answer questions clearly and precisely.
- Ability to accept responsibility for confidential information and material given by the Executive Director and administrative staff.
- Access to reliable vehicle/driver's license is required at various office locations.
