Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Elementary Secretary to join our vibrant school community. This vital role supports daily administrative operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment for students, staff, and parents. The Elementary Secretary acts as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and managing essential office functions with professionalism and enthusiasm. Duties Serve as the front desk receptionist, greeting visitors, parents, students, and staff with warmth and professionalism Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and courteously while handling inquiries efficiently Maintain organized filing systems, including student records, attendance logs, and confidential documents Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Office applications and school management software to update records promptly Assist with bookkeeping responsibilities utilizing Skyward tools to track expenses and supplies Coordinate communication between teachers, administrators, parents, and external agencies to facilitate smooth operations Support office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and proofreading documents Requirements Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office setting, preferably within an educational environment Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and GOOGLE. Experience using multi-line phone systems and providing excellent phone etiquette and customer support Ability to handle confidential information discreetly with integrity and professionalism Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management abilities Personal assistant or office management experience is a plus to support daily operational needs Join us in making a positive impact on students' educational journeys by providing outstanding administrative support. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
