JOB COMPONENTS/PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the recruitment and support of member of The Village Assist The Village coordinator in designing and implementing the program curriculum Plan opportunities for building community among Black students, faculty, and staff Promote The Village efforts in coordination with the Marketing and Communications team Plan educational events for The Village members with the Education and Special Events Coordinator Implement a social media strategy to inform and engage students and campus community on The Village programs and initiatives Manage DU BeInvolved and other platforms Assist with development of the CCL newsletter and other communication materials Attend biweekly supervision meetings and biweekly CCL team meetings Serve on CCL planning committees Provide 7-8 hours a week of in-person office hours Perform other duties as requested, delegated, or assigned

(Required knowledge, skills, abilities) Strong coaching skills; Ability to motivate and encourage students Ability to keep students' confidentiality Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment and still meet deadlines Strong verbal, written, and social media skills; interpersonal and follow-up skills Dynamic self-starter who takes initiative, highly reliable, and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills: Microsoft Suite
