Position Description:
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Bilingual Administrative Assistant for our Rockford, IL location. This role will perform a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The role requires the person to be dependable, approachable, self-motivated, sincere, factual, and committed to hard work. The person must possess the genuine desire to positively impact our associate employees and client we work with every day to ensure a great experience with QPS. This is a full-time, internal opportunity with QPS Employment Group. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 1st shift, 40 hours a week. What you'll be doing: Answers, screens and directs incoming communications from clients, external employees, and internal employees Retains a record of communication and activities by documenting subject and details in appropriate software platform(s) and according to policy Welcomes visitors, guests, employees and applicants; answers and/or directs inquiries Assists applicants by assigning free kiosks or web application workstations and by reviewing job applications Completes employer portion of I-9/W-4 and other E-Documents Updates applicant status and updates changes to employee/applicant profile Keeps reception area clean and functional Distributes hard copy paper pay checks in accordance with company policy Assists staff with recruiting and placement related administrative tasks Other duties as assigned What we look for: At least 1 year of experience in a customer service setting High School diploma or GED preferred Ability to deal with a fast-paced environment, multiple tasks, and a high volume of employees Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) Professional and effective communication skills High level of integrity and commitment Must be highly organized and energetic Bilingual preferred (Spanish Speaking) What We offer: We are proudly 100% employee-owned (click HERE to learn more) Health, Dental, Vision, Short & Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), Limited Purpose FSA, Dependent Care Reimbursement, 401k PTO, Birthday PTO, Paid Holidays Educational Assistance Incentive bonus Work-life balance & flexibility Family culture
