Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires proficiency in various administrative tasks and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Responsibilities Overseeing daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization Answering phone calls and emails and directing inquiries appropriately Assist with the daily mail and shipping Greeting customers and other visitors and directing them to offices and meeting rooms Performing bookkeeping and financial tasks, such as recording transactions and preparing bank deposits Creating and updating databases and records for financial information, personnel records, customer management records and other data Tracking, replenishing and ordering office supplies Preparing reports, spreadsheets and presentations Managing agendas, travel plans and appointments Assisting with onboarding new employees and coordinating HR-related tasks Skills Prior experience is preferred, but not required. Two year degree or Certificate Preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective phone etiquette and communication skills for customer interaction. Previous experience in office management or clerical roles is preferred. Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
