Job Description

at Department of Healthcare and Family Services in Springfield, Illinois, United States Job Description Essential Functions Under general direction, serves as a staff assistant to the manager of the Account Services Section by assisting in the planning, developing, and implementing operational policies and procedures for the section Consults with agency managers directly involved with monitoring policy adherence: Conducts and coordinates studies and special projects Serves as liaison with other agency units and bureaus Assists the manager in responding to inquiries and correspondence from other offices within the bureau, division, and agency Assists in developing and coordinating regular and special operating reports Collaborates with the Agency Labor Relations Manager Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above  Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration Requires one (1) year of professional experience in a public or private organization or completion of an agency approved professional management training program Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of experience working with state and federal policies, rules, and regulations related to child support for a public or private organization Two (2) years of experience analyzing production reports, computer data and information from management meetings to evaluate policies and operating procedures Two (2) years of professional experience exercising judgment and discretion in implementing and interpreting an organization’s policies and procedures Two (2) years of experience as a staff assistant working for executive level management One (1) year of experience developing and maintaining cooperative working r To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
