Summary:
The Industrial Administrative Clerk provides office support to the Operations Manager at the Burns Harbor facility. This role involves maintaining files and records, ordering, and managing supplies, plant inventory, maintaining the facility's schedule and calendar, and performs other duties as needed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Administrative/Clerical Duties:
Provide clerical support to the Operations Manager and extend support to various colleagues and site co-workers when needed Fulfill data from the day to day Turn Reports, all printed out checklists, and execute emails Assist in providing tasks to employees when needed Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records, inventory, invoices, etc. Provide proper PPE, safety binders, and training directions for all new employees and maintain up to date record of operator specific PPE assignment Maintains a level of organization and tidiness of the office and common areas/facilities Stock all office supplies including but not limited to water, coffee etc. Company use of site truck for commute and picking up packages from various locations Maintain established inventory control system Execute cycle counts Ensure sufficient inventory of operational materials & spare parts Ensure Limble is up to date with accurate part counts and part information Coordinate with vendors, rate negotiations and implementation, for package deliveries (inbound and outbound), provide paperwork to set up vending, shipping arrangements, and travel Download digital meeting notes, digitize all paper records (turn reports, checklists, rosters, etc.), and file in appropriate locations Schedule recurring safety and operational meetings Sort and distribute incoming mail Greet visitors, vendors, contractors and answer phone calls and radio calls; direct to the appropriate parties or taking messages Approve PO's in Exflow Provide the first contact impression of the Ozinga culture

Regular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this position This job may require additional duties not listed above and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needs
Qualifications:
Education/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
2+ years of office and/or clerical work preferred
Skills/Abilities:
Attention to detail Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize daily tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication skills are essential Effective problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
Operates within a plant facility office trailer environment in Burns Harbor, IN (Steel Industry) Routine usage of office equipment such as computers, phones, radios, printers, and filing cabinets Typical day is an 8-hour daytime shift
Physical Requirements:
