Job Description

Job Overview The Office Assistant is responsible for supporting the Executive Director with the daily affairs of the organization, including, but not limited to, setting up, packing, and distributing meals to drivers, supporting and communicating with volunteer drivers, and general office duties. This position is classified as non-exempt and is an employment-at-will position. Responsibilities and Qualifications Maintain core values of the organization. Demonstrate Professionalism Demonstrate Responsiveness Demonstrate Integrity Teamwork Ethical conduct Verify all routes are covered each day Notify drivers of their route utilizing an automated system. Be available to support drivers by phone during delivery hours. Be available to deliver meals should the need arise. Personal mileage will be compensated at the current IRS rate. Responsible for the daily preparation, set-up, packing, and distribution of meals Assist with client follow-up. Respond to correspondence in a timely manner. Clean coolers & set up cold cart daily while maintaining recommended sanitation levels established by OSHA. Perform general clerical/administrative duties such as invoicing, answering the phone, and data entry. Assist the Executive Director as needed. Inventory office supplies Assist in new client processes, including follow-up phone calls, receiving diet orders, filing, and assembling meal delivery items. Collect and assemble community items, including but not limited to self-stable bins, coolers, and happy moment donations. Requirements Knowledge of office equipment operation and programs: printer, computer utilization of Microsoft Office, ServTracker, Dial my calls, Wix, Canva, and Sign up Genius. Strong written & verbal communication skills Food handler certification is a plus, but not required Join us as an Office Assistant to be an essential part of our team!
