This is the intermediate level of the administrative hierarchy. Employees at this level provide administrative support to work groups in the organization. At this level, the individual has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience. This level works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision and serves in a non-exempt capacity.
Responsibilities:
Uses business software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc. Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail. Maintains files and calendars. Responsible for arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and tracking expenses. Basic Qualifications Highschool Diploma AND 1 year minimum required related work experience Additional Preferred Qualifications Strong computer skills Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Excel and PowerPoint Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments Demonstrated ability to communicate (both written and oral) in a clear, concise and effective manner Ability to effectively interface with multiple across a department, e.g. managers, supervisors, employees Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing conditions Working Conditions Performs work in normal office environment May be required to provide assistance in multiple areas as needed Position may be located at a generating plant, regional office, etc Prolong sitting at desk/computer May be required to travel for training and/or assistance at other sites and may be required to work overtime Travel Requirements Not required Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable) No Represented/Union Position No Visa Sponsored Position No. This is not a Visa Sponsored Position.
