Job Description
Project Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support of the NCIRPC mission
- to increase the capacity of local communities for the purpose of building stronger local communities and regional economies by enhancing the quality of life throughout the region.
Project Assistant duties include:
general office administration, file management, program and data research, technical assistance, preparation of documents and reports to advance community development initiatives throughout the North Central Indiana region. The Project Assistant reports directly to the Executive Director. Perform administrative duties to support the NCIRPC mission and functions; Assist in the planning and oversight of grant programs and regional initiatives; Prepare documents and reports for funding agencies; Manage project budgets, process claims to funding agencies, and payments to recipients; Serve as a liaison between staff, communities and funding agencies; Promote NCIRPC and regionalism through social media and print media; and Carry out other assignments as necessary at the direction of the Executive Director. Associate's Degree- Bachelor's Preferred
- applicable work experience will be considered; Ability to perform basic computer office functions
- Microsoft Office; Considerable interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral; Organizational skills to manage multiple projects; Ability to problem solve; Some travel within the region necessary; and Valid Driver's License required.
