To coordinate all aspects of Dual Credit Enrollment and provide office administration and support for Dean of Academics.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise all dual credit/CEP activities including: Provide oversight of all high school student programming, ensuring growth and compliance with KBOR requirements and regulations, including regulatory reporting. Provide supervision and guidance to all high school site coordinators. Coordinate and collaborating with high school admissions representative, site coordinators, college deans, division chairs, college and concurrent faculty members, etc. Prepare and process contracts for concurrent adjuncts and site coordinators. Serve as the primary point of contact for college related questions and troubleshooting for site coordinators and high school students. Develop line schedules for high school students including CEP, dual credit, hybrid/ZOOM, and online modes - in coordination with faculty, divisions chairs, and instructional deans. Travel to high school outreach sites to assist with enrollment and registration. Ensure that institutional policies and procedures are followed in the dual-credit enrollment environment, including recommending needed policy changes based on changing circumstances in dual-credit education. Coordinate growth of high school offerings including: Contribute to the recruitment and retention of high school students. Coordinate with Technical Education to sustain and grow dual-credit technical offerings to high school students. Direct incoming and outgoing communication to the appropriate person(s) and to appropriate department and/or agencies. Provide additional administrative support to the Dean of Academics and to Instructional Services including:
STEM Grant:
Relay information about STEM programming and opportunities during regular in-person visits and through electronic communication. Coordinate at least one career showcase per year. Assist with adjunct in-services and orientations. Work with Human Resources and Payroll to coordinate and prepare adjunct contracts. Assist with instructional services report generation, including monthly reports to the Board of Trustees. Maintain adjunct applicant files and tracking. Prepare and process new adjunct paperwork. Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, filing and online applications. Develop the distance education line schedule in coordination with the Director of Instructional Design. Perform other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
Schedule and organize work to meet established deadlines. Keep all assigned files and records current and well organized. Maintain a friendly, professional work environment and attitude when working with others.
QualificationsKnowledge and Skills:
Experience:
Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree.
Interpersonal Skills:
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills:
Experience working in public schools, community college or four-year college level preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. Job requires minimal agility and dexterity.
Work Environment:
Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.
