Job Description

SBS-Corp is seeking a dependable and highly organized Program Support Assistant to provide full-time onsite administrative and operational support for a federal government office in Manhattan, Kansas. The selected candidate will support daily office operations, correspondence, recordkeeping, bookkeeping, scheduling, and program coordination. Responsibilities Provide general administrative and program support. Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations. Maintain electronic and paper files and program records. Assist with bookkeeping, invoices, purchase records, and financial tracking. Coordinate meetings, schedules, travel, and office activities. Answer telephone and email inquiries professionally. Track assignments, deadlines, and required documentation. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams. Protect sensitive government and program information. Perform other related administrative duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications At least two years of administrative, program-support, office-management, or bookkeeping experience. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience maintaining accurate records and handling multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and dependability. Ability to work full-time onsite in Manhattan, Kansas. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to successfully complete a federal Public Trust background investigation. Preferred Qualifications Previous federal, state, university, military, or government-contractor experience. Experience with bookkeeping, financial tracking, purchasing, or invoice processing. Associate's or bachelor's degree.
Pay:
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
