8-4:30 Mon-Fri Utilizes excellent interpersonal skills to handle challenging situations while maintaining supportive relationships. Handles requests courteously and respectfully, being readily available for questions. Communicates effectively, both in writing and verbally. Demonstrates a proactive attitude, correcting errors and taking responsibility for the department's quality image. Assists in improving and streamlining departmental processes and workflow. Sets appropriate priorities to manage tasks efficiently. Recognizes the impact of absence on the healthcare team and strives to minimize it. Adjusts personal schedule when necessary to complete workload. Acts as personal secretary, managing correspondence, appointments, and other duties for the Department Leader(s). Conserves the time of department members and leaders by anticipating needs and researching questions. Updates, prepares, and prints all annual performance evaluations and distributes documents to associates. Tracks all forms to ensure timely return. Assists with payroll maintenance. Maintains an organized workflow system. Prioritizes workload to meet deadlines. Maintains an organized filing system. Provides documents that are attractively formatted and error-free. Seeks improvement in time management and support services. Meets deadlines for routine and special projects. Maintains confidentiality of leader's files, personnel records, quality and risk management records, and medical records. Manages and processes department mail. Maintains and orders supplies for the department. Provides clerical support including typing, filing, coordinating meetings, room set-up, catering, agendas, minutes, data tabulation, and assistance in preparing presentations. Performs other duties as assigned.
