JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective The Part-Time Front Desk Attendant and Department Support serves as the first point of contact for the office, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and organized environment for visitors, employees, and vendors. This role supports daily office operations through administrative coordination, front desk management, and general office support. This person should have one of the following skillsets: Data entry: Provide data entry support with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Marketing:
Assist with basic marketing tasks such as content updates, organization, or coordination
Payables/Receivables:
Support accounting functions including accounts payable or accounts receivable processing The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment. This position also provides an opportunity to contribute to additional business functions such as data entry, marketing support, or accounts payable/receivable, depending on experience and skillset. Front Desk & Office Coordination Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience Manage office foot traffic and direct guests appropriately Provide light phone coverage and route calls as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk and common areas Administrative & Office Support Sort and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing shipments Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies, snacks, and beverages Coordinate food orders for meetings and office events as needed Support general administrative tasks across departments Departmental Support (Based on Skillset) Data entry: Provide data entry support with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Marketing:

Support accounting functions including accounts payable or accounts receivable processing Collaborate with internal teams to support special projects or operational needs Required Education, Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred Prior administrative, front desk, or office support experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience in data entry, marketing, or accounting functions (AP/AR) Supervisory Responsibilities There are no supervisory responsibilities in this role. Travel Expectations None. Work Schedule This position is scheduled to work Thursdays and Fridays, 8:00AM to 3:00 PM. Work Environment & Physical Demands This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This may require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
