The School of Nursing and Allied Health invites applications for the position of Assistant Program Administrator for the Doctor of Nursing Practice - Nurse Anesthesia concentration. The Assistant Program Administrator works directly with the Program Administrator to support the leadership, administration, accreditation compliance, and continuous quality improvement of theCRNA-DNP
program. This role assists in maintaining compliance with Council on Accreditation (COA) standards and serves in a leadership capacity when delegated by the Program Administrator. In collaboration with the Program Administrator, the Assistant Program Administrator will: Assist with the daily operations of theCRNA-DNP
program Support faculty, staff, and students within the concentration Collaborate on teaching assignments, advising responsibilities, course scheduling, and clinical contracts Participate in curriculum development and ongoing review to ensure appropriate rigor and alignment with entry-into-practice competencies Assist in preparation of required university, state, and accrediting agency reports Maintain documentation supporting student competency achievement and program outcomes Support oversight of clinical education, including case minimums, supervision ratios, student logs, and site quality Maintain communication with clinical affiliates to ensure strong partnerships and active agreements Participate in program assessment and quality improvement efforts, including review of attrition, National Certification Examination (NCE) pass rates, and graduate employment outcomes Support faculty development in teaching, scholarship, and professional engagement Participate in admissions review, recruitment, and program-related events Serve on university, college, and program committees as assigned Teach graduate anesthesia courses, including summer terms Assume delegated leadership responsibilities in the absence of theProgram Administrator Requirements:
Earned PhD, DNP, or DNAP from a regionally accredited institution Current CRNA certification by NBCRNA Current APRN licensure in Kentucky (or eligibility) Current RN license in Kentucky or compact state Active membership in the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a CRNA Minimum of 2 years of graduate-level teaching experience Experience in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and program assessment Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Assistant Professor Candidates must hold an earned PhD/DNP/DNAP, in nursing or a related field, Candidates must hold at least one graduate degree from a nationally accredited nursing program Candidates must demonstrate competence in classroom and online instruction Associate Professor Candidates must hold an earned PhD/DNP/DNAP, in nursing or a related field Candidates must hold at least one graduate degree from a nationally accredited nursing program Candidates must demonstrate competence in classroom and online instruction Candidate must have at least 5 years post-secondary teaching experience Candidates must have a minimum of five years at the rank of Assistant Professor or hold a current rank of Associate Professor at their current or former institution Candidates must demonstrate a record of research with a current nursing research agenda and a record of funded research Candidates must meet departmental, college and university requirements for associate professor Full Professor Candidates must hold an earned PhD/DNP/DNAP, in nursing or a related field, Candidates must hold at least one graduate degree from a nationally accredited nursing program Candidates must demonstrate competence in classroom and online instruction Candidate must have a minimum of five years at the rank of Associate Professor or hold a current rank of Full Professor at their current or former institution Candidates must demonstrate an exemplary and sustained record of research with a current nursing research agenda and a record of externally funded research Candidates must meet departmental, college and university requirements for professorAdditional Information:
