Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet | Department of Veterans Affairs Location 1111 Veterans Way Bowling Green, KY 42101 USA Description The Bowling Green Veterans Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. The Nurse Program Administrator (Assistant Director of Nursing) position is responsible for providing administrative support duties for the Nurse Executive in directing nursing activities for the Bowling Green Veterans Center. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Assists the Nurse Executive with the oversight of nursing operations for the Bowling Green Veterans Center Provides reports and recommendations as needed or required to the Nurse Executive concerning nursing operations Assists the Nurse Executive in the development, implementation and evaluation of facility policies, procedures, and guidelines on an annual and on-going basis Serves on multiple committees, participates in the selection, promotion and disciplining of nursing staff Preferred skills and abilities: Strong interpersonal skills Professionalism Adaptability and flexibility Self-starter Compassionate Minimum Requirements

Must have three years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Substitute
