Southeast Scholars Job Summary Supports Southeast Scholars programming in Harlan County through student recruitment, recordkeeping, communications, meeting support, event coordination, and administrative assistance. This role helps ensure efficient program operations and consistent support for students, families, and community partners This is a Regular/Half-Time position.
Job Duties:
Program sessions, events, and transportation logistics Support logistic operations for Harlan County evening sessions. Help coordinate logistics for transportation, activities, workshops, and community events. Attend Steering Committee meetings and record accurate meeting minutes. Student records, progress tracking, and eligibility Perform data entry and maintain records for current students through graduation and long- term tracking. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance, and grades. Assist with verifying student eligibility, including low-income and first-generation student criteria in Harlan County. Administrative and clerical support Order program and office supplies as needed. Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed to support program operations. Student and family communication Communicate with students, parents, and guardians through Facebook, Messenger, text messages, and email.
Minimum Qualifications:
Highe School degree with 3 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree
