Summary Job Description:

Unit Secretary - Nursing Facility Full-Time 6:30a - 3p The Unit secretary performs clerical and receptionist duties for the nursing unit and coordinates patient

flow under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Nurse. Performs clerical duties as related to admissions, discharges, and transfers. Send, receives, and communicates telephone messages to the appropriate persons in a timely manner. Coordinates patient appointments for testing and physician follow up Prioritizes work to meet patient care and unit needs.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
