City Administrative Officer City of Fort Wright, KY Fort Wright, KY Job Details $115,099 - $154,795 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications Governmental accounting Supervising experience Accounting and finance experience Full Job Description The City of Fort Wright, Kentucky is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and motivated professional to serve as its next City Administrative Officer (CAO) . This executive-level position is appointed by and reports to the Mayor and is responsible for directing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the city while assisting and advising the Mayor and City Council in planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating all Municipal functions. The successful candidate will provide leadership in Municipal Administration; Financial Management, including budget preparation and oversight of 10 million plus tax dollars; Personnel Administration; Economic Development; Grant Administration; Public Relations; and implementation of City Policies and Programs. The position also serves as the City's Alcohol Beverage Control Administrator, Personnel Administrator, and Public Relations Officer, while ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws. Qualified applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field (master's degree preferred) and have extensive experience in Municipal Management, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, and Governmental Operations, including progressively responsible supervisory experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Salary Range:
$115,099 - $154,795 DOQ, plus excellent benefit package.
