Looking for employment in a fast-paced office environment? The Division of Mine Safety (DMS) is hiring an Administrative Specialist Senior in Harlan County. This position will provide high-level professional administrative support to the Branch Manager in implementing and maintaining various complex programs, projects, and activities. Holders of the Administrative Specialist Senior position will complete tasks such as: Apply statutes and regulations applicable to the drug-free program. Maintain and enter data into shared office files. Serve as Branch Time Administrator, ProCard holder, and Special Project Coordinator. Receive and process payments for mine licensing, drug vouchers and testing. Review, compile, and prepare mine licensing information to ensure compliance with the state mine licensing requirements, draft exam notices, and process enrollments for testing. Order supplies, complete vehicle reports. Compile data for special reports, travel vouchers and gas well permits. Perform other duties as assigned.
