This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records through accounts receivable ledger maintenance, transaction validation, and reconciliation activities in accordance with university financial policies and internal controls. The Administrative Staff Officer I (Financial Specialist) manages the full billing and revenue cycle from invoice preparation and distribution to payment application and collections follow-up ensuring timely and complete revenue capture university partnerships. Additionally, this role supports asset inventory tracking and compliance with university asset management standards through accurate record keeping in eBARS and related systems. The Administrative Staff Officer I (Financial Specialist) collaborates cross-functionally within the Centralized Business Office to maintain operational consistency, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and provide coverage support across divisions as needed.
