Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel An outstanding opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist with experience in hospital-based therapy. This contract position calls for a compassionate, skilled professional dedicated to delivering high-quality care and supporting positive patient outcomes in a dynamic hospital environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Occupational Therapist license Previous experience providing therapy services in a hospital setting Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs Knowledge of current best practices in occupational therapy and rehabilitation Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans addressing functional limitations Deliver therapeutic interventions to help patients improve independence in activities of daily living Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care Educate patients and families about therapy processes and progress, fostering engagement in rehabilitation goals Accurately document patient progress, treatment modifications, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulations Contribute to case conferences and care team meetings as required
