$25 - $30 per hour Job Details - We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Permanent Administrative Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law firm administration and a deep understanding of the legal industry. You will be working in a stimulating and rewarding environment where your contributions will make a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Administrative Assistant, your duties will include but are not limited to: 1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to our legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements. 2. Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, reports, and presentations with high attention to detail. 3. Maintain and organize digital and physical files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. 4. Liaise with clients and other legal professionals, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills. 5. Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts and other relevant bodies. 6. Monitor deadlines and manage case timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. 7. Perform legal research and assist in case preparation as needed. 8. Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Administrative Assistant role will possess the following: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role within a law firm. 2. Proficiency in legal research tools and legal case management software. 3. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 6. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. 8. A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. 9. Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
