Job Description

Purpose:
The Clinic Office Clerk is responsible for running and maintaining the office operations of the clinic to ensure efficient and quality medical services for the patients.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 1-year office experience, preferably in a clinical setting and/or medical office assistant certification. Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to correctly sort and file materials by alphabetic and numeric systems. Ability to courteously deal with patients and co-workers. Ability to operate a telephone system and utilize appropriate telephone etiquette. General knowledge of standard office equipment, such as computers, fax machine, and photo copier. General knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to clearly and concisely speak. Ability to concisely hear sounds.
Working Conditions:
Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds approximately 15% of the day. Employee will be sitting approximately 40% of the day. Employee will be standing and walking approximately 15% of the day. Employee will be pushing and pulling approximately 10% of the day. Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending approximately 10% of the day. Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level approximately 10% of the day.
