The Office Associate will assist with the fiscal operations of the Madison County Extension office, including the maintenance and reconciliation of appropriated and non-appropriated funds and oversight of general office operations; receives and generates receipts for payments; maintains and orders materials, and equipment; organizes administrative activities to facilitate processes and procedures; provides support for program staff using the most current Microsoft and Adobe applications; provides office support and technical assistance for county 4-H, Agriculture and Natural Resources program staff, including producing letters, memo, reports, and other correspondence, as well as front line customer service to clientele; perform various front office duties; maintains files and records; operates general office equipment.
Pleasant, outgoing personality, detail oriented, self-motivated, and customer service oriented. Experience with fiscal management; formal training and/or experience working with accounting and financial systems. Knowledge of OSU Extension programming. Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint) and Adobe. Knowledge with layout and design of brochures, programs, etc. Experience in website management and social media marketing. Possess ability/willingness to learn new software as needed. The pay range for this profile is $15.86 - $20.74/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.The pay range for this profile is $15.86 - $20.74/hourly.
