As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our accounting firm and ensuring smooth workflow. Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to our team of professionals, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings. Assist with client communication, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and addressing inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Maintain and organize office files, documents, and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare and format documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence using Microsoft Office or other software as needed. Perform general office duties such as copying, faxing, scanning, and ordering office supplies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working in a professional office setting is required Common knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm Must pass a background and drug screening
Pay:
$15.00/hr 90 Day Probational period with advancements Potentially more hours during

Your manager gives you three task and tells you that one must be completed today, one is needed later in the week and one has no specific deadline. What should you do? You notice that the client waiting area is messy, several documents are waiting to be scanned and no one has specifically asked you to handle either task. What would you do? Cox Accounting is a small office where everyone works closely together. Priorities can change quickly and employees may occasionally need help with task outside of their job description. How would you handle that type of environment?
