Job Description

Overview Provides administrative support to the Education Director to ensure effective education program related materials, and assists in federal and state mandate, laws and regulations relating to special educations.
Pay rate is:
$20.09 Hourly - $22.49
Hourly Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Assist the Assistant Education Director, Senior Supervisor, Assessment Coordinator, and Transitional Education Coordinator with administrative related tasks as needed or assigned. Coordinates and maintains the following records: IEP/ISP Calendar Mandated State Testing Database Title 1 Records DESE Licensing Book Education Student Database Grade Reports and Transcripts Student Education Records and Files Student Classroom Assignment File Student Sign-Out Log Prepares all student report cards and progress reports for internal and external distribution. Prepares and compiles all educational related material for student discharges. Ensures all pertinent IEP materials (ie. forms, signature pages, etc.) are distributed to appropriate internal and external personnel. Maintains Robinson Education Center attendance list for trainings and meetings. Updates face sheet files as needed. Attends, takes minutes, and distributes education minutes as assigned. Assists Education Director with compiling, maintaining, and updating the DESE Licensing Manual. Completes Title 1 Reports. Composes and types routine correspondence and memos. Files correspondence and memos. Files correspondence and other related records. Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate official. Ensures copier, computers, and printers are in working order and notifies the Director of Information and Technology when not working properly. Maintains and updates the schedule for REC conference room. Tracks use of audio-visual equipment Collects and distributes internal and external mail and maintains Robinson Education mailboxes. Copy and file CPI reports, purchase requests, and time off requests. Forwards CPI reports, purchase requests and time off requests to appropriate personnel. Greets visitors to Robinson Education Center and ascertains nature of business and directs visitors to appropriate personnel. Compiles statistical reports as needed. Accesses need and keeps track of all supplies for education department. Responsible to store, order, and distribute educational supplies as needed. Faxes and copies needed documents and laminates when necessary. Provides receptionist coverage as needed and assigned. Attends related training and meetings as required or assigned. Professionally maintains confidential information. Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer experience of Microsoft Window and knowledge of excel and access preferred.
