Going strong since 1974, CASE is an educational collaborative agency made up of 11 regional and municipal districts affording member and non-member school districts the opportunity to augment local services by planning, developing and implementing programs for students with special needs. CASE Collaborative is seeking an Administrative Assistant in CASE's Transportation office located at the Colebrook High School in Acton.
Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant (AA) provides support and assistance to the Transportation Office. The position involves working with special education personnel, students, parents, classroom staff, and support services. The candidate must possess strong oral and written communication, organizational, and computer skills. The candidate must also exercise confidentiality, initiative, tact, discretion, and sound judgment. The AA must be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and the community. The AA has access to department-level confidential information that requires the application of sound and balanced judgment, discretion, and knowledge of professional office protocols. The AA must be able to organize time, work independently, and accomplish tasks despite frequent interruptions. The ability to deal effectively and tactfully with both adults and students is required at all times. A progressive and positive attitude is necessary to resolve problems and meet the needs of a fast-paced, public work environment. Multi-tasking and maintaining flexibility are core skills of this job title. Microsoft Office Suite skills are required; Excel proficiency is very helpful.

m, Monday through Friday. This is a year round position. Responsibilities include: Managing the daily functions of the transportation office; including but not limited to answering phones, taking accurate and detailed messages; assisting and responding to drivers via radio, various administrative tasks. Other responsibilities deemed appropriate by the Transportation Manager. Competitive benefits
