Office Assistant (10 month- School Year Postion) North Easton, MA Job Details Full-time $18 - $27 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Record keeping Phone communication Filing Purchase order management Receiving shipments Updating inventory records Purchasing Clerical experience Phone call management Entry level Full Job Description The Clerical Aide provides general assistance and support to district residents and staff and acts as the receptionist and handles incoming and outgoing mail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position.)Performs office duties including but not limited to preparing and sending correspondence, receiving and routing incoming/outgoing mail and telephone calls, establishing and maintaining files and records.

Performs duties to support teachers including but not limited to copying, collating and stapling documents, and laminating materials.

Receives and distributes supplies and books.

Maintains accurate inventory of supplies.

Processes purchase orders for supplies and instructional materials.

Maintains office equipment and supplies needed to operate equipment efficiently.

Communicates effectively with all district personnel and the community in general.

Maintains positive working relationships with all district personnel, students, and parents.

Maintains confidentiality on all matters.

Participates as a member of the school office staff and shares responsibilities as requested by the Principal for the purpose of supporting school office operations.

Performs all other responsibilities in the scope of the job as directed by the Principal.
