Donor Relations Coordinator Springfield Rescue Mission Springfield, MA Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Microsoft Excel Database administration Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Organizational skills Business Administration Productivity software Full Job Description Springfield Rescue Mission is seeking a mission-driven and detail-oriented Donor Relations Coordinator to oversee the organization's donation management operations and donor database systems. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the accurate processing, reconciliation, reporting, and stewardship of all charitable contributions, including financial and in-kind donations. The Donor Relations Manager will work collaboratively with Development, Finance, and Executive Leadership to maintain accurate donor records, ensure compliance with internal controls, analyze donation trends, and support donor retention efforts. This position also oversees donor database administration, reporting reliability, and operational improvements that strengthen organizational growth and accountability. Qualified candidates should possess strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills, including experience with reconciliation, reporting, and donor database or CRM systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent communication skills, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to build positive, mission-centered relationships with donors. A bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years of relevant professional experience. Experience administering donor database systems and ensuring accurate reconciliation processes, or similar database and reporting experience, is required. Nonprofit experience is strongly preferred.
