Job Description

Hometown is in search of its next great team member. This person will be dynamic, quick-thinking, and detail-oriented to fill the role of Administrative Coordinator. This person will be responsible for coordinating broad aspects of Hometown Tree Experts and for the Commercial Division of Hometown Landscape and will be the link between the clients, office staff, and field personnel. Ideally, we seek someone who has verified experience in the tree/landscape industry. Furthermore, we are willing to pay top dollar should the candidate have experience working with Landscape Management Network (LMN) software.
Responsibilities:
This role will report directly to the Owner/President and Operations Manager of the company. General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Answering phones and responding to clients Managing residential client accounts and client communication Qualifying potential clients Project scheduling and coordination Works directly with the Operations Manager on continued process improvement Vendor and subcontractor relations Assisting estimator in the management of job production, including job starts, job execution, job closeouts, and maintaining daily status update on all active jobs Accounts receivable and collections Managing social media outlets and assisting outside marketing company Daily clerical tasks
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Landscape/Green industry Must be able to use EXCEL, PowerPoint, QuickBooks Online, knowledgeable of software programs and proficient in the use of the operating system. Proficient in QuickBooks Online is a must. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment Must present as professional and polished with proper grammar skills and pleasant voice tone. Ability to work independently with little supervision Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding client relationship skills and leading people Must be highly detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational and follow-through skills Knowledge of vehicles, equipment, materials, methods, and tools involved in landscaping projects is preferred. An enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive, can-do attitude.
